Inpatient addiction treatment in Yerevan

Medical observation and psychological care in a structured setting with a continuing-care plan.

Inpatient care is not necessary for everyone with an addiction. It is considered when medical observation is needed, home is not a safe setting or outpatient support has not contained the situation.

The decision follows risk and individual need rather than automatically selling the longest programme.

A light twin room

When inpatient care may be safer

A high risk of severe withdrawal, polysubstance use, unstable physical or mental health, rapid repeated relapse and lack of safe home support may require closer observation.

  • Observation during the acute stage
  • Access to medical reassessment when the condition changes
  • A structured routine away from immediate substance access

What a programme should contain

Substantive inpatient care includes medical and psychological assessment, an understandable routine, individual and group work, family support and discharge preparation. Contact, visiting and leaving rules are explained in advance.

Not sure what kind of help is appropriate?

Share only what you feel ready to share. A professional can distinguish an emergency from a planned-care need and suggest one realistic next step.

Discharge planning starts early

Before returning home, agree clinicians, appointment dates, prescribed medication, family arrangements, craving responses and signs that require rapid escalation of care.
